SFC JR ACADEDEMY PROGRAM
Suburban FC’s Jr. Academy Program
The SFC Jr Academy Program was established in 2023 & is designed for the most passionate & committed players from the U7/8-U11 age groups at Suburban.
The Jr Academy program provides the highest level of training and gameplay that Suburban FC has to offer at this age & stage
Jr Academy players must be a part of the SFC Skill Centre as they will still partake in both programs. Players invited to this program will train weekly, led by Nationally-qualified coaches, and overseen by some of our most advanced staff coaches.
This program follows the Suburban FC player pathway and feeds players into our U12-U18 Academy programs.
The Junior Academy in an INVITE-ONLY program. To be considered for the Jr Academy Program players MUST BE REGISTERED for the Spring League Season.

Program Details
This program is offered for 16 weeks.
1x Weekly Training + Potential Exhibition Games & Tournaments
Schedule
Registration: Players invited to this program will receive an invitation letter before the program start date. Players must be registered in the spring and summer season to be considered.
Starts: May - TBC Date
Tentative End Date: August 30th, 2024
Sessions will run for 16 weeks *Subject to change due to weather conditions*
Time & Location: TBC - Training on turf and/or grass facilities in Bedford and/or Sackville
Coaching
This program is led by the Jr. Academy Program Manager and assisted by technical trainers, youth coaches and volunteer coaches. All coaches are a part of Suburban FC's Coach Development Program.
Uniforms
TBC - Update/Info will come in the Jr Academy Invite Letters

Parent and Player Requirements
Players and parents must abide by the Policies and Procedures of the club.
What happens if there is bad weather and field closures?
** Unfortunately due to time constraints, there will be no make-up sessions or pro-rated refunds due to poor weather / field closure. Field closures and extreme weather conditions are beyond our control. We will always strive to ensure that programming is offered when we have access to fields and it does not jeopardize the safety of our players. Any cancellations will be clearly communicated via TeamSnap. **
