WINTER SIMBAS PROGRAM
Teaching the foundations of Soccer and growing a Love & passion for the Game!
Birth years 2017-2022
About the Simbas program:
The goal of our Suburban Simbas program is to provide our young players with a fun and social experience that begins to grow their love for soccer. Most players in this program are exploring the game for the first time. We want all of our Simbas to fall in love with the game all while learning new skills, making new friends, and most importantly, having FUN!
The Simbas program is designed around a curriculum that builds on ball mastery, physical literacy and game-representative activities.
The format maximizes the concentration of the kids, gives them lots of important touches on the ball, and is also a lot of FUN!

Coaching
This program is led by technical trainers, youth coaches and volunteer coaches. The sessions are delivered by some of our most talented youth player coaches who are beginning their coaching journey at the club. These coaches are trained, guided and supervised by our club staff. All coaches are a part of Suburban FC's Coach Development Program.
Our program also relies on the help of parent volunteers so if you are interested in volunteering please include this on your registration!
Are Uniforms Provided?
New players registered for the winter program will receive a Suburban FC X PUMA uniform during their first session. Players who are returning for the winter season from the summer & fall season will only receive a new uniform if they have out grown their uniform. Uniforms are not built into the registration fees, these are at a cost to the club & supported through our program sponsors, Tim Hortons (Timbits Soccer Program)

Parent and Player Requirements
Players and parents must abide by the Policies and Procedures of the club.
What happens if there is bad weather and field/gym closures?
** Unfortunately due to time constraints, there will be no make-up sessions or pro-rated refunds due to poor weather or field/gym closures. Field/gym closures and extreme weather conditions are beyond our control. We will always strive to ensure that programming is offered when we have access to fields/gyms and it does not jeopardize the safety of our players. Any cancellations will be clearly communicated via TeamSnap. **
