Our 2025 U17 Boys were celebrated at Halifax City Hall by Mayor Andy Fillmore and members of Regional Council in recognition of their historic National Championship victory.
On March 2nd, the team was honoured for capturing the first National Championship in Suburban FC history and the first ever by a club from Atlantic Canada.
Players and staff were presented with formal letters of recognition from the Mayor and Council, acknowledging their accomplishment and the pride they have brought to our community. The team was also presented with club-issued National Championship rings, marking a milestone moment in the history of our club.
We are grateful to Mayor Fillmore and Regional Council for recognizing this achievement and for supporting youth sport in Halifax. This National Championship will remain a proud chapter in our club’s history, and we hope it inspires the next generation of SFC players.
