The Bruce Wagner Tournament honours the life of Bruce Wagner (August 8, 1960-June 26, 2006), a lifelong supporter of youth soccer in the Sackville, NS & surrounding community.

Bruce was deeply involved in local soccer, especially within girls’ programs, as he was a dedicated father to three daughters – Kristina, and twins Jillian and Jeanna. He devoted countless hours to helping young players develop a love for the game, and his positive influence is still felt by many families in the area.

Following his sudden passing at age 45, the community chose to honour his memory by naming this tournament after him. Today, Suburban FC proudly carries on the tradition of celebrating his legacy by bringing players, coaches, and families together each year.
