About the Suburban Simbas Program
The goal of our Suburban Simbas program is to provide young players with a fun, social experience that fosters a love for soccer. Most participants are exploring the game for the first time, and we aim for all of our Simbas to fall in love with soccer while developing new skills, making new friends, and, most importantly, having FUN!
The Simbas program is built around a curriculum that focuses on ball mastery, physical literacy, and game-representative activities. The format is designed to maintain the children’s focus, provide plenty of important touches on the ball, and keep them engaged—all while ensuring they have a blast!
Spring Simbas Program
The Spring Simbas program is designed to keep our young players active during the 'off-season' and fill the gap between the Winter and Summer seasons.
The Spring program will begin the week of April 5 (Block 1) and conclude the week of May 25 (Block 2).

Registration Closes: March 28th, 2024
Block 1 (BMO indoor - Halifax)
April 5th: 1:00-3:00 PM*
April 12th: 1:00-3:00 PM*
April 19th: 1:00-3:00 PM*
April 26th: 12:00-2:00 PM**
*The schedule will be finalized and divided into 1-hour slots based on player age and registration volume.
Block 2 (CPA or Weir Field outdoor)
May 3rd OR 4th
May 10th OR 11th
May 17th OR 18th
May 24th OR 25th
*Block 2 will be on Saturdays OR Sundays and times are TBD as we are waiting on our Outdoor Field Allocations from HRM. This page will be updated as soon as information is available

Individual Block: $55

Are Uniforms Provided?
For the Spring Season, jerseys will NOT be provided. To keep program costs minimal, jerseys have not been included. Players are welcome to wear any comfortable athletic or sports clothing or their Suburban uniforms if they have them!
All players must wear shin pads and can wear soccer cleats or sneakers.
Need To Know
Schedules are subject to change based on facility availability. If there are any changes to location or time, communication will be sent via TeamSnap.
Parent & Player Requirements
Players and Parents must adhere to the Policies and Procedures of the club.
What happens if there is bad weather and field closures?
Unfortunately, due to time constraints, there will be no make-up sessions or pro-rated refunds for poor weather or field closures. Field closures and extreme weather conditions are beyond our control. We will strive to offer programming when fields are available and safe for players. Any cancellations will be communicated via TeamSnap.
