SFC Joins NOVA NXT GEN U8/9 League

**FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE**

June 1, 2024 - In an exciting initiative to enhance the youth soccer scene here in the region, six leading soccer clubs in the region – Suburban FC, United DFC, Storm SC, Valley United, Ignite SC, and East Hants SC – are thrilled to announce the launch of the Nova NXT Gen Soccer League. Designed for U8 and U9 divisions, this collaborative league will kick off on Saturday, June 8th, and run weekly at Maybank Fields (1115 Micmac Blvd, Dartmouth) until September. 

The Nova NXT Gen Soccer League represents a significant step forward in fostering the growth and development of young soccer players in the region. By uniting their efforts, the clubs aim to provide a comprehensive and enriching soccer experience that focuses on player development, enjoyment, and soccer culture. The league's structure and programming are tailored to meet the developmental needs of young players, ensuring they receive the best possible environment in their soccer journey. The league will meet the standards & align with the guiding principles set by & enforced by Canada Soccer related to the age & stage of these young players. The Clubs look forward to working closely with Soccer Nova Scotia to ensure the continued development & growth of the league and the beautiful game in our region.
