The First Touches Program introduces children ages 18 months to 3 years to soccer through play, movement, and exploration. Sessions are built around fun, curiosity, and simple activities that help young players get comfortable moving their bodies and interacting with a ball.
This program focuses on early physical literacy. Children develop balance, coordination, and basic motor skills while being active and engaged. Soccer is the tool, not the pressure. Every activity is age-appropriate and designed to support confidence, social interaction, and a positive first experience in sport.
First Touches follows a parent-tot format. Parents stay on the field and participate alongside their child, with sessions led by Suburban FC coaches who guide the activities and create a welcoming environment for both players and parents.
Sessions are structured but flexible, blending movement games, simple ball activities, and free play to keep young children interested and smiling throughout
