Financial Assistance

Suburban FC is committed to making soccer accessible to as many youth players as possible. Sometimes, families need financial assistance to get their kids into a sport or physical activity. Low family income should not be a barrier to committed players who desire to learn to play soccer and realize their full potential in the sport.

We have partnered with several organizations that can provide financial assistance for families in need to cover registration costs. Please see the links below for more information about these programs.

Suburban FC Receives Jumpstart Sport Relief Fund Grant

The 2022 funding application deadline is Nov 25, 2022

Who we fund is simple: kids. Kids who want to get active. Kids who want to learn a new sport or activity. Kids who want to keep up with a sport or activity they already enjoy. But these kids just need a little extra financial help to get their names on the roster.

Kids aged 4 to 18 from families in financial need can receive funding to help with registration fees, equipment and/or transportation.

If you are in need of financial assistance to help fund your child's soccer participation and have not yet applied for Jumpstart please note that the Individual Child Grant system will close for the 2022 funding year on November 25th, 2022 at 11:59 ET. Please ensure you complete and submit any applications for funding prior to that date.

Financial Requirements

To be eligible for funding for one or more children, families must first meet specific financial criteria as per Revenue Canada’s Low-Income Cut-Offs (LICO) chart. Jumpstart uses the furthest column to the right of the chart for eligibility.
